There are half-elves where I’m from: one parent is an elf, the other is human. I’ve been told I look more like a half-elf due to my features.

However, I only speak two languages: common and elvish.

I suppose we are speaking the same language, in a way. I’m speaking Common to you right now. It’s a universal base language of sorts for the Sword Coast, at least.
