[ The great thing about sending crystals (aside from the convenience, that is) is that as long as you're able to make your voice sound like one thing while your face is doing another—which Bastien is—no one can tell that you're squinting into the middle distance and trying to discern whether there is some Orlesian insult buried in Isaac's recommendation.

Well, I'm curious about everything, really, but I think where I'd like to start are their political views? Political views slash, I guess, opinions on current events. That's very broad, I know, but would it at least be a viable starting point...?

Ouais, that is doable. You are looking for reading material? I can give you that, or I can tell you some places to go sit and ask people what they think and be guaranteed they will talk more than you really want them to—or both.

Both would be perfect, except—I'm not at liberty to leave the Gallows, at present. I have some projects which keep me confined, but on the other hand afford me great freedom to read.
